XXX, also somewhat archaically known as Veierodism, is a polylatrist, dualist and universalist religion originating with the New Spirit Movement in Eskavia during he early 19th century. The religion has been called highly syncretic by academics, with its theology drawing from Gregorianism, local indigenous beliefs, Hylo-Elian religious practices and various other New World religious groups. Adherents of this faith are called XXXers.

The religion was first founded by abolitionist, lay-philosopher and charismatic religious leader Pål Veierod who claimed to have received a series of revelations in the form of dreams and visions from God, which he chronicled in the Rites and Testaments, one of their x canonical holy books. XXXers believe in an existence of a supreme creator-deity known as TBA, who existed alongside a pre-set hierarchy of lesser divine beings and entities known as orxia-tba or "Spirits", who are often linked to Preterist sainthood, indigenous and Hylo-Elian deities who function as Tcreator-TBA's intermediators in the material world, as well as various lesser spirits such as the souls of the deceased. XXXers believe in reincarnation and a complex three-party cosmology where the world is divided into the "Dunno" representing a paradisical plane plane of existence where the orixa-tba reside, the material world inhabited by humans and "wonders-tba" ("wondering souls"), and the Underworld. The barrier between these planes is not rigid, movement between them is dependent on spiritual evolution and "soul-debt". XXXers hold that the souls of the deceased currently in the Physical World can strongly interfere with the fortune of the living, as a result veneration of the death is a central aspect of their religious practices.

XXX was historically heavily persecuted due to its radical departure from Gregorian doctrine, historical ties to radical abolitionist politics, divination and sacrifical practices, support for polygamy, and pluralistic inclusion of non-Calesian beliefs into its theology, resulting in harsh state crackdowns during the 1840s and '50s. This culminated in the Great Journey where XXXers migrated away from Eskavian administrative centres and towards the Elian interior, settling along the X Rift Valley and establishing various internationally unrecognised states which came to be known as the X Republics. The XXXer's migrations were often accompanied by conflicts against both indigenous groups settled along the region as well as the Lavish-speaking postcolonial states who were largely unable to assert their claims over the region. The 18XX Great Rift War saw XXXer communities successful starve off Eskavian encroachment, earning their international recognition.

Today XXX boasts over XX million inhabitants, making it one of largest post-!Columbian syncretized faiths in the New World, with adherents predominantly concentrated in Central Elias Austral, but with sizable minority populations elsewhere in Equatoria, XXX, XXX and even XXX, XXX. XXX has historically been heavily associated with the multiethnic and multiracial TBA-Peoples ethnocultural group predominant in the TBA Rift Valley and the !Boer Republics established there.
