The Northeast American States
The Federal Republic of the Northeast American States (FRNAS), commonly known as the Northeast American States (N.A.S. or NAS) or North America, is a country located in New England and the Mid-Atlantic region in North America, between the Confederate States of America (CSA) and Canada. It consists of 18 states and a federal district.[h][d] With a population of over 82 million, it is the 20th most populous country in the world. The country's capital is Washington, D.C., and its most populous city is New York City.
Paleo-Indians migrated from Siberia to the North American mainland at least 12,000 years ago, and European colonization began in the 16th century. The United States emerged from the thirteen British colonies established along the East Coast. Disputes with Great Britain led to the American Revolutionary War (1775–1783), which established independence. In the late 20th century years of political polarization and tensions finally erupted into a civil war between The Confederate States of American and the United States, as the war waged many states from both countries seceded, creating their own unions or independent states. The Northeast American States consist of 18 states, al that seceded from the United States during the war. in 2004 the Northeast America created a constitution by convention of delegates from each state.
The Northeast American States is a federal Presidential republic and a representative democracy with three separate branches of government, including a bicameral legislature. It is an active member of the United Nations, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Organization of American States (OAS), NATO, and other international organizations. It is a temporary member of the United Nations Security Council.
