Uthossia /ˌʌˈθɒz.jə/ (Uthossian: Votvaś, IPA: [v(ʷ)ɔt̚ˈvaːsʲ]; Russian: Утвоссия, Utvossija; Himuvorean: Vodvašė), officially known as the United Socialist States of Uthossia, is a socialist democratic republic in northern Europe's geopolitical Baltic region. It is bordered to the north by Estonia, to the east by Russia, to the south by Waisnor, and to the west by Latvia and the Baltic Sea. It is comprised by three primary cultural regions, which are South Estonia, Vidgale, and Pskov, respectively, which are then further divided into sixteen provinces in total (five in South Estonia, four in Vidgale, and seven in Pskov), forming the country's two primary levels of administrative divions. Covering a total land area of approximately 115,000 square kilometers, Uthossia is home to more than 3.5 million residents, as of the most recent 2022 census.

Uthossia is a developing country, and ranks in the moderate top of the Human Development Index. It is a socialist democratic unitary presidential constitutional republic. It is one of least populous and least densely-populated countries in Europe, the European Union, and the Schengen Area alike. Uthossia is mostly known for its ethnic heterogeneity (the most in the Baltics), civil rights, environmental beauty and eco-friendliness, tourist industry, inclusiveness, high LGBTQ+ acceptance, complete lack of red tape, and very low levels of crime, government corruption, and authoritarianism. The country's progressive policies in education are improving its quality of education at a very rapid rate, and is becoming a very popular destination for students studying abroad from the Baltic states, Poland, Ukraine, Hungary, Russia, Greece, Croatia, and many more countries. Uthossia is also known worldwide for its exceptionally lax immigration policies, leading to it being the destination of many refugees from the Middle East, South Asia, as well as Northern Africa.
