Valentína (Full Name: Valentína Inês Vitória Esteves de Assunção e Teixeira da Ávila) was born at Hospital São Taís in the Federal District of Torres Vedras on October 13, 2002 at 9:13am BVS. Immediately following her birth, she was declared heir apparent to the Baían throne through her mother, the incumbent Queen of Baía Vermelha, Inês. Her mother, Inês, was only eighteen years old at the time of her birth, due to the sudden start of her reign.
Like her mother, Valentína, went on to pursue an education with the Council of the King in the city of Marinha Grande, attending Academia Real da Marinha Grande to learn everything that is necessary of a Queen. Unlike her mother who went there in a boarding school-type of style, Valentína spends three days a week there and two days a week at Fortaleza Azul where members of the Council teach her there within the Palace.

Personal life
Valentína while growing up, being the first Princess in history to be confirmed heir at birth, has always been in the spotlight. During her teenage years, Valentína took on an immature personality that shocked many across the nation, including not showing up to her mother's 40th birthday celebration. Fortunately, she has straightened herself out since, and has been the symbol of beauty and excellence throughout Baía Vermelha.
Valentína is a big supporter of Outubro, both the Men's and Women's teams, in part because her cousin Eloá plays for the latter.
Valentína as part of her curriculum at A.R.M.G. is fluent in her native Bahían, but is also conversational in the uncommon Ol’ Portaspañol and royal language Luspanés, of which only royal family members are allowed to learn.
