Vid-U is a large Video Streaming websight invented by Fredrik Kroon, Oleg Stenströv, and Bieito Lagos headquartered in Ostrogslav, Dniegua. The service was conceptualized by three former university friends in February 2005 and its first wide scale release came about in December of the 2007. The site allows users to upload, view, rate, share and comment on videos, and makes use of a wide variety of streaming technology to host and display user generated content. Unregistered users can watch videos, and registered users can upload videos to their profiles. Videos considered to contain mature content are available only to registered users affirming themselves to be at least 18 years old.
