Viktoria Norström (born 20 December 2002) is an Acrean professional biathlete and skier. She is the daughter of Acrean biathlete Svante Norström, and the half-sister of biathlete Einar Norström and celebrity chef Fredrik Norström. She competes in both Nordic field biathlon and standard smallbore biathlon.
Early Life
Norström was born in the city of Blekinge, Acrea to famed Acrean biathlete Svante Norström and a Châu mother. Her parents were never married, though it is known that her mother was a doctoral candidate at the University of Kongsberg. She was raised by her father and his first wife, Alina Norström, who he had gotten back together with in late 2003 after separating in 2000. As the daughter of a medal-winning biathlete in one of Acrea's premier skiing and hiking regions, Norström states that she was born "practically with skis in her hands". From a young age, she often accompanied her father and older brothers on skiing and hiking trips. Norström attended the private Kungsholmen Gymnasium in Alingsås, and graduated in 2021.
Career
Personal Life
Norström currently attends the University of Göteborg. She is an avid fan of the football club Göteborg S.C. and plays football recreationally in her free time. Although she refrains from making statements about politics, Norström is outspoken about the difficulties faced by multi-ethnic youth in Acrea's largely homogenous society. As a result of her activism, she was invited to speak in front of the Riksdag by Chancellor Rasmussen in 2021. In 2022, she was presented with a Royal Court Medal for Civic Virtue by the King.
