The Vyvlander national football team is the football team representing Vyvland, and is governed by the Vyvlu Vybohl Vederat (Vyvland Football Federation). They play their home matches at the Volcano Dome in Lorence, and are managed by Abram Urmed. The team were formed upon Vyvlander reunification in 1983, and played their first international match in the December of that year, in which they lost 2-1 to Michillies. Previously, a friendly 'reunification match' had been played against Luziyca's Bethlehem Christians, who had won the Luziycan Premier League that year.
The team is the Coupe d'Esquarium's most successful, having won twice, in Spring 2014 and Spring 2015, the latter of which was completed without conceding any goals. These wins have brought Vyvland to the forefront of Esquarian football as a world-renowned team.
Kit
The team traditionally wears red and yellow as their colours, corresponding to the Flag of Vyvland; this is how the team earnt their nickname of f'rud an'gelen (the Red and Yellows). The team also often wear orange, which is a national colour, on their away kit. The goalkeeper has worn a predominantly black outfit since the team's formation.
