The War of the Levant (Hebrew: Arabic: Aramaic: Kurdish:), also known as the Yom Kippur War, the Ramadan War, the October War, the 1973 Arab–Israeli War, the Fourth Arab–Israeli War, the Third Rojava War, was an armed conflict fought from 6 to 25 October 1973 between Israel, Phoenicia, Galilee, and Kurdistan against a coalition of Arab states led by Egypt and Syria.

The war had ripped affects in the Middle East. The war brought Israel, Phoenicia and Galilee closer together. Much of Galilee's Muslim population was displaced, fleeing to Lebanon, Syria, and Cisjordan. Conversely, many Druzes were also expelled from Syria and Lebanon. Israel, however, was forced to give independence to the Palestinian Arab Republic. Thus starting the long and painful Israeli-Palestinian peace process.

The Rojava dispute remains unsolved, although a hard border existed along the Yellow Line.
