WellPoint is an Alexandrian-Prussian worldwide health services organization based in Clear Springs, Alexandria. Its insurance subsidiaries are major providers of medical, dental, disability, life and accident insurance and related products and services, the majority of which are offered through employers and other groups (e.g. governmental and non-governmental organizations, unions and associations).
WellPoint offers Medicare and Medicaid products and health, life and accident insurance coverages primarily to individuals in the AP and selected international markets. In addition to its ongoing operations as described above, WellPoint also has run 12-hospital academic medical system with facilities located in Clear Springs with satellite clinics throughout the region, known as the WellPoint Health System. WellPoint Global Benefits also operates under the WellPoint.
WellPoint is one of the three largest healthcare company in Alexandria-Prussia, the other two being Guilding Light Healthcare and United Blue.
