The West Phoenician Ministry of Trade is a government department in the The Empire of West Phoenicia that is responsible for trade and investment.
History
Lord Marshall Von Bourbon was appointed as the first Minister of Trade in 1610 by Queen Louisa Dorcas.
The agricultural sector had started to blossom, in response the government decided to export it's excess of cotton, tobacco, gemstones and fruits to allied nations which had arranged trade agreements.
Initially trade was conducted via sea routes to deliver their products. From 2019 the use of transport ships still dealt with 70% of all product. The remaining 30% is handled by transport planes.
In the beginning of their sea trading, West Phoenician merchant ships were attacked by the Greater Phoenicia Empire or their allies. To reduce their loss military ships began to escort transport ships.
