Wlastislaw Alexander Heinrich von Lichnowsky (20 February 1893 – 25 December 1966), known as "the Hornet" (Weranian: Die Hornisse), was a Sunrosian and later Swetanian fighter pilot. Serving with the Flight Corps of the Imperial Sunrosian Army during the Airdale War, he was the first pilot to be credited with five confirmed aerial victories, making him the first fighter ace in history. By the end of the conflict, he was credited with 62 confirmed victories out of 109 claimed, making him the ace-of-aces of the war.
