Wody, officially the United Communes of Wody, is a nation in northern Asia. It is bordered by Tempor to the west, Dinmir to the southwest, Hanga to the south, and Sibra to the east. It has a coast with the Laptev Sea to the north and Lake Lena to the east.
Wody actively respects civil liberties and ranks moderately high in HRC-FS human rights. Trade is very common and community respect is a vital component of Wodian society. There is significant gender equality in laws, however society does have certain roles for each. Political freedom is ranked moderately due to small amounts of corruption and strong hereditary power in the Council of Communes.
The Wodian economy is entirely agriculture and aquaculture based. 97% of exports from Wody are food products. Advances in bioengineering have resulted, some of which include longer lasting produce for transportation, more nutrient rich foods, and the Fu Solution which preserves meat longer. Since Wodian technology and products are not all that remarkable, the economy is weak.
Etymology
Wody is similar to a word in Mandrin meaning "fertile." This was likely so named for the extremely fertile land of the area. The land has led to a highly agriculture based economy, producing some of the best plant food in the world.
