XheKal is a hypersonic cruise missile currently being jointly developed by Tennai and Syara. Initially announced in 2015, XheKal is intended to serve as a long range anti-ship and land-attack missile, capable of being launched by surface vessels or land based launch systems. According to the Tennaite Armed Forces, the XheKal is expected to enter service in mid-to-late 2021. Joint testing by the Royal Tennaiite Navy and Syaran Commonality Navy was conducted between 2019-2020, confirming the missile's likely effective range of over 1,000 kilometers and speed in excess of Mach 8. While an air-launched version of the missile does not currently exist, the Commonality Air Force has stated it intends to help develop one in coordination with the Royal Tennaiite Air Force.
