Ye Desheng (Huajiangite: 葉德生; Alphabetized Huajiangite: Yè Déshēng) was a Huajiangite politician and philosopher who served as the first President of Huajiang in 1881 until his death in 1902. He served as the founder and leader of the Republican Party. Ye Desheng is known as the founder of the Republic of Huajiang, and created his ideal Deshengist republic. He also became one of the major powers during the Huajiang Civil War and led the Republican Party to become one of the largest organizations of Huajiang.
