Zylaria Vaconcelos Thalyndra (born April 19, 2265) is an Yhoran-Carinansian politician, revolutionary, and former slave who is currently serving as the 3rd Governor of Glunos since 2332. A member of the National Reform Party, she is the first non-Tecian individual to have been elected as a state governor.

Born to enslaved Yhoran parents in Ingow, equatorial Yhora, for the first twenty years of her life she served as a slave for the Azlan Empire, involved in the local mining sector. In 2285, following the death of her parents, she discovered the underground presence of the Vraxian Alliance for Liberation on the planet, and quickly defected from the Empire to swear loyalty to the movement. For the next 35 years, she rose through the ranks of the movement as a distinguished soldier, involved in several sabotage operations across the Empire to weaken them in their war with Carinansia. In 2310, she received her final promotion to that of a Sector Commandant, and in this capacity she opened a direct line with the Serene Revivalist government of Carinansia to better coordinate their efforts. At the Battle of Zithirus in 2314, she extinguished the entire planet, essentially wiping out a massive Azlan garrison and telecommunications center. Until the conclusion of the war, she was declared the Azlan Empire's most wanted individual, and several operations on their part to capture her failed.

After the conclusion of the 2318-2320 Carinansian political crisis and the ratification of the Extraterrestrial Citizenship Act 2321 under Caroline Hamada, she applied for Carinansian citizenship via the Extraterrestrial Rebel Service Program, wherein she was fasttracked to Carinansian citizenship in exchange for military service, in recognition of her skillset. At the 2327 Battle of Azla, she led the 8th Extreme Force Wing of the Serene Space Force, receiving an Order of the Liberator General Carintecatl for her exemplary service throughout. A year later, she received an honorable discharge after receiving extensive burns across her body from an Azlan Space Laser. She moved to the city of Vaconcelos in New Voclaria for three years, while she studied a Bachelor of Laws at the city's campus of the Álvaro Serrano Paek University.

After graduating in 2331, she joined the National Reform Party and became an outspoken advocate for increased social spending, infrastructural investment, and alien assimilation programs. She was nominated as the party's candidate in the state's 2332 gubernatorial elections, and won the position in a narrow contest against Party for the Cárinansian Revolution candidate, Julio Bitencourt de Guzman. Since assuming the office, she has established extensive programs to assist formerly-enslaved individuals in adapting to society, and established a homestead credit for the state's sparsely populated territories. She has been criticised for her strong stance against any practice of Zharanism, which some scholars have argued is contrary to the country's freedom of speech laws despite the destruction it has caused in the Tecian-Azlan War.
