Federal elections were held in East Besmenia on 7 September 1952 to elect the 211 members of the Federal Chamber. The Liberal Citizen's Party of Besmenia remained the largest party, winning 75 of the 211 seats in the Federal Chamber.

Background

Eletion poster from the LBB

After the 1948 East Besmenian federal election, the LBB and the SDU formed a government under Prime Minister Albrecht Nebeling. The BVP formed the opposition with the BKP in the Besmenian Federal Chamber.

When the Zoygarian invasion of eastern Nortua began in 1951 during the World War, the LBB and the three other parties in the Federal Chamber had formed a coalition government. The dramatic events in the southern part of East Besmenia led to discussions about postponing the federal election. However, the election went ahead as planned, but the parliamentary parties agreed to exercise restraint in the election campaign. The main aim was for the governing parties to emphasize their credibility.
