Fort Casimir (Narodyn: Форт Казимир, Fort Kazymyr, weRwizi: Ndebvu) was a Narozalican fort situated in the city of Rutendo in Rwizikuru. Established in 1704, (TBD).

Etymology

The official name of the possession, Fort Casimir was given by the Narodyn merchants who established the fort in 1704. The name refers to (TBD).

The native name, Ndebvu was given by the veRwizi as a reference to the long beards of the earliest Narodyn traders.
