Aleksander Brynjarsson af Prusil (Faldarunic: ᛆᛚᛂᚴᛋᛆᚿᛑᛂᚱ ᛒᚱᛦᚿᛦᛆᚱᛋᛋᚮᚿ ᛆᚠ ᛔᚱᚢᛋᛁᛚ; 22 September 1860 – 18 November 1934), was a Faldarunic general who served as Supreme Commander of the Imperial Army during the majority of the First Endwar. Brynjarsson was famed for his revolutionary tactics, in stark contrast to many of his inferiors; and to the Emperor. He is known for the Brynjarsson Offensive, in which the joint Faldarunic-Ottmari forces managed to advance 50 miles in 75 hours. Aleksander is often portrayed as the only competent Faldarunic general during the First Endwar.
Early Life
Born into the prestigious aristocratic Line of Prusil in the town of Baldurstead in the Thanedom of Nýóðinnland, Aleksander was raised by his aunt and uncle after the death of his father and subsequent suicide of his mother. Brynjarsson trained as a military officer at an early age. He recognised the importance of machine guns and artillery while his superiors still believed in the superiority of morale and grand offensives. He graduated from the prestigous Keisaraherskólanum officer's academy in 1880 with full merits, and soon was assigned as an ensign to the 17th (Sommestad) Guards Regiment.
First Endwar and military career
By the outbreak of the First Endwar, Brynjarsson had ascended to the position of general, and was appointed as Supreme Commander in early 1914 after leading a stunning victory against the Spanishlandic Empire in the Battle of Yüksektepe.
[stellar career]
After being accused of treason for questioning the authority of Emperor Vilhjálmur II in late 1916, Aleksander was stripped of his position and imprisoned in the Keisarafangelsi, a famous Imperial prison off the coast of Rykborg. [then saved by revolutionaries and joined the cause]
