The Duchy of Emla was a Hyseran successor state, founded shortly before the fall of the Hyseran Empire. It existed from 811 to 1532, when it was annexed to Trellin after the marriage of Duchess Moruza to King Tor'qim in 1529. As an independent state, Emla often came into conflict with Arimathea, particularly over the city of Dargai.
