The Rt. Hon. Lja Le MP C (Shinasthana: 徐菭, mlja-le; Anglian: John-Geoffrey Lja; b. Jul. 1, 1935) is a Themiclesian businessman and Liberal politician. Originally a director of a real estate development business, he sat as Liberal MP for Dah since 1977. His first ministerial post was Minister for Agriculture between 1994 – 5; he ascended the ministerial ladder from then. In 2016, Lja was unexpectedly selected as the new Liberal leader after St′ang Kugh's retirement, and consequently became Themiclesia's incumbent prime minister. He has fought three general elections since taking power in 2016 and received his first majority in 2019. He is the fourth-longest serving member of parliament.
