Plot

In 2156, Liina Sokk is a mechanic onboard the Starship Délivrance which is passing through the DS-11A system. Liina's boss tells her that her regular shift will be in another part of the ship. Liina begins her work shift, shortly after an unknown object strikes the Délivrance causing the ship to begin breaking apart. Liina, her colleague Kaia and a medical officer Gatske all make it to an escape pod although Liina is forced to close the door by Gatske on several other crew members as the Délivrance breaks apart and crashes into the unexplored planet of DS-11A5. The pod along with Liina, Kaia and Gatske launches from the ship as it breaks apart killing anyone still onboard.

The escape pod lands near a beach on DS-11A5's equator and Kaia watches as debris from the Délivrance brurns up in DS-11A5's atmosphere. Liina attempts to establish contact with other escape pods although this is unsuccessful. After their landing, Gatske organises the two others and they agree to explore their surrounding area to search for food and materials. Whilst searching for food Liina finds a crashed escape pod in a nearby forest, upon entering it becomes clear that the crew onboard the pod had been killed whilst entering the atmosphere as the pod had suffered damage whilst escaping the Délivrance.

Liina informs the others of her discovery, Kaia wants to bury the bodies whilst Gatske is in favour of using the corpses for scientific experiments. After a heated argument between the group Gatske backs down although still remains as the group leader. That night Liina discovers a security recording from the Délivrance which shows an unnatural object coming from DS-11A5 and impacting the ship proving that something had shot down the ship.

The following day, the group get a signal from an unidentified source south of their location. Whilst originally hesitant about travelling to the source Gatske manipulates Liina and Kaia to follow her lead. The three set off on a buggy and reach the source of the signal which is a large weapon like structure on the planet's coast, there Kaia is attacked by a flying creature which severely injures her. Gatske stays behind to treat her whilst Liina enters the alien facility alone.

Whilst inside Liina comes across numerous Alien corpses throughout the halls of the abandoned facility before eventually reaching what appears to be a control room on the upper levels of the facility, whilst there Liina discovers that this was the launch site of the object which brought down the Délivrance. The launch system of the weapon appears to fit with human made Android designs. Liina is able to make a call for help which is responded by another Starship sent to investigate the vanishing of the Délivrance. Before she can finish her SOS call a surviving alien creature attacks her and knocks her unconscious.

After several days of being unconscious Liina awakes inside what appears to be an alien lair in the facility, there she discovers Kaia's corpse but no trace of Gatske, after trying to flee she is brought back by the surviving alien. The surviving alien attaches Kaia's corpse to a grey fungus on the wall and leaves Liina. Liina attempts to cut Kaia down although she discovers the Fungus has attached itself to Kaia and is now rapidly mutating inside her body. Upon discovering this Liina flees the facility whilst avoiding the alien. After escaping she discovers that the ship she contacted had departed DS-11A5 with Gatske who had killed Kaia after realising the ship was landing.

Distraught and hopeless, Liina returns to the escape pod and finds that the supplies had been taken by the ship's crew. That night a massive hurricane arrives which destroys much of the surrounding area and washes the Pod and Liina out to sea. Liina hallucinates whilst on the pod that an alien had boarded the pod and tried contacting her. The pod washes up on a beach near the facility after the hurricane. She sneaks back into the facility and contacts the ship once again.

The ship's captain tells Liina that Gatske had told them that she had went insane and killed Kaia and other survivors. Liina tries reasoning with the captain who accuses her of being involved in the crash of the Délivrance. The captain ends the communication but shortly after the ship's Navigation officer establishes contact with her. The Navigation officer informs her that the ship was unable to return to DS-11A5 to rescue her due to a company decision.

Liina tries to leave the facility but is attacked and subdued by the surviving Alien who brings her back to the lair. There she discovers that Kaia's corpse is being turned into an Alien egg. After begging the alien for death, the Alien slices her leg revealing that Liina was in fact an Android. The alien who is able to communicate with Liina tells her that it is the last surviving member of their species and the species had been used by humans for scientific experiments. The Alien brings Liina to the control centre of the facility and tells her that Humans had no regard for her own wellbeing.

Liina, now emotionless and under the influence of the alien fires the weapon at the departing ship causing it to disintegrate in space killing everyone onboard.
