The Syaran Commonality Navy (often abbreviated as SCN) is the naval component of the Syaran Commonality Armed Forces. The SCN succeeded the Navy of the Syaran Republic as the principle naval arm of Syara following the Refusal War.
Primarily focused on littoral defense, the SCN does not operate any carriers, nuclear submarines, or battlecruisers. It's main force of 72 primary combat vessels, namely missile cruiers, destroyers, frigates, and diesel electric submarines, are divided into three groupings; the Northern Fleet, Western Fleet, and Southern Fleet. The SCN did not particpate heavily in the Zemplen War due to political considerations regarding the Sundering Sea, with the Battle of the Vanadzor Coast the only major naval operation undertaken by the SCN in it's existence.
