The DHRB-4 (Menghean designation: 04식 단용 휴대용 라콑 발사기 / 〇四式單用携帶用--發射機, Danyong Hyudae-yong Rakyet-Balsagi, "Type 04 single-use man-portable rocket launcher") is a type of single-use, disposable, shoulder-fired 70mm rocket-propelled grenade developed in Menghe. It comes in four major variants, offering a variety of warhead options; the anti-tank version is relatively rare in domestic service. All types are relatively easy to use, and light enough to carry as part of a regular combat load, in contrast with heavier anti-tank weapons requiring a dedicated operator.
Variants
- DHRB-4SI (소이 / 燒荑, So-i): Incendiary variant which fires a rocket containing jellied gasoline and a bursting charge. The warhead can generate a temperature of 800-1000 degrees Celsius over a period of 10 seconds. In addition to killing enemy personnel within the structure, the jellied fuel adheres to its outer walls and continues to burn at a high temperature, preventing reinforcements from firing through the same windows and restraining enemy movement within a building.
- DHRB-4HP (기화 폭탄 / 氣火爆彈. Gihwa pogtan): thermobaric variant which fires a rocket containing a powdered explosive charge and separate bursting and ignition charges. It is highly effective against fortified structures, and according to state sources generates a blast equivalent to a 107mm high-explosive tank shell.
- DHRB-4YM (연막 / 煙幕, Yŏnmak): Long-range smokescreen variant which fires a warhead containing white phosphorus. On impacting a target, the warhead disperses a dense smokescreen, which can be used to blind enemy firing positions or create visual obstacles on open ground. The burning of the warhead itself can also drive enemy soldiers out of cover.
- DHRB-4DCh (대전차 / 對戰車, Daejŏncha): Armor-piercing variant with a single high-explosive anti-tank charge. It can penetrate 400 millimeters of armor (RHA equivalent), or over a meter of concrete, earth, or brickwork. Because it lacks a tandem precursor charge and offers only modest penetration, it is not optimized for engaging enemy main battle tanks, but it can defeat lighter armored vehicles and penetrate bunkers and other fortifications.
- DHRB-4MJ (모방장치 / 模倣裝置, Mobangjangchi): Training replica used in indoor electronic simulations. An antenna within the launcher detects its bearing and angle, and transfers this information to a screen projected on the wall.
- DHRB-4GY (교육용 / 敎育用, Gyoyugyong): Training replica used on outdoor firing ranges. When fired, it launches a special 9mm tracer round which follows the velocity and trajectory of the actual type's 70mm rocket.

Service
The DHRB-4 is most widely used in the Menghean Army. Front-line rifle squads in active high-readiness units are issued two DHRB-4 launchers: one incendiary variant and one smokescreen variant. At least two additional launchers can be stored in the squad's transport vehicle.
