The StG M6, officially the Sturmgevär/Sturmgewehr Modell 2006, is an Acrean 5.56x45mm select-fire rifle designed by the Stuhr arsenal for the Acrean Armed Forces. The M6 was born out of a program to combine the operating system of the StG M90 with the ergonomics of the StG M66, an Acrean derivative of the Shalumite StG 64 which was used primarily by special forces and other specialised troops, as well as develop a rifle more suitable to sustained fire over long periods of time. First adopted in limited numbers by the Jagdkommando in 2004, the M6 was later approved for service by the Acrean Army in 2006.

In addition to adoption by the Acrean Army, the M6 has seen widespread use among law enforcement agencies in Acrea and abroad. It currently serves as the standard service rifle for NORDAG of the Acrean Army, and its adoption as the standard service rifle for CENTAG and SORAG is pending the procurement of newer variants by the Acrean Army.
