Charlotte Kjølaas (born 13 December 2002) is an Acrean chess grandmaster and national chess champion. She is a Chess prodigy, having attained the title of Grandmaster at the age of 13, winning the Acrean Chess Championship a year later. She is considered one of the most talented players to have come out of Acrea, and is often compared to mid-20th century Acrean Grandmaster Jürgen Bergkamp, one of the most successful Acrean player to date who achieved a peak classical rating of 2850. In January 2021, Kjølaas achieved a peak rating of 2800.

As a player, Kjølaas is known for her positional and endgame mastery. Her position-focused style of play is common among Acrean players and was first codified by Bergkamp in a series of books published from 1965 to 1971. While this style of play has been used to great successful by several Acrean Grandmasters, Kjølaas is considered its greatest practitioner since Bergkamp's retirement. She combines her positional skill with notable dynamic ability and has shown to be capable of maneuvering her way out of strategically disadvantageous or unfavourable positions. Alongside Bergkamp, she has cited Syaran Grandmaster Andon Bakalov and Ruvelkan Grandmaster Alexei Rokva as inspirations.
