Mumbengegwi is a district in Rwizikuru, which as of the 2011 census is the ninth-most populous district in the country, with 0.1 million inhabitants living in the district. Its district seat is Tawedzegwa. It is bordered to the southwest by the Mabifian-occupied district of Yekumavirira, to the west by Mabifia proper, to the north by Tsungirirai, to the east by Dzakakwirira, to the southeast by Zvakawanda, and to the south by Hunidzakafa.
