Despite, the cold start at first, Jarvis begins to warm up to Francis. Much to his parent's delight, Jarvis comes out of his shell and begins exploring, such as reading, writing poems, and playing the violin. During the third week, Roberto Santos takes the young men on a road trip to city of Saint Francis. While Mr. Santos is away on business in the city, the young men take a bus and hike more than 2 miles to a secluded beach called Love of the Sea Cliffs. The two men have a personal chat, before kissing each other on the lips for the first time.
