At the age of 18, Antón enrolled in the Ceannlaidir Martial Academy located in Ira, and received a commission as a Cadete do Exército, or Army Cadet. He completed his studies in 1982, and was awarded a commission as a Tenente, or Second Lieutenant. He attended Aisling Airborne Training School and was assigned as a platoon leader with the 5th Imperial Dragón Brigade, and later became a company commander with the same unit. Mira was with the 5th Imperial Dragón in 1985 during Operation: <>; an air assault against Notreceauen forces in the Vi Castis Mountains. During the operation, several units, including Antón's was cut off and encircled by the Notreceauen. During the 90-hour battle before the force was relieved, Antón repeatedly exposed himself to enemy fire while personally leading his men in three separate counterattacks. Following this, Antón was successful in organizing his men and holding open a landing zone allowing for the evacuation of wounded personnel, and later initiating parley with the enemy forces to allow medical evacuation helicopters to remove several severally wounded personnel. During this action, Antón was wounded no less than 5 times by enemy fire. The force was successfully relieved by the 51st Coraceros Brigade after an intense 90 hour battle. For these actions, Antón was awarded the Gold Sabre of Valor, the nations third highest combat military honor
Upon his promotion to Comandante, or Major, in 1989 he was invited to attend the Imperial Army's Staff and War College. Completing his training, he was assigned to the 53rd Imperial Coraceros Brigade as a battalion P3, or planning and operations officer. His promotion to Coronel in 1996 saw him transferred to command the 2nd Cazador Battalion, part of the Imperial Army's Second Division, one of two rapid reaction forces assembled by the Imperial Army.
Promotion to flag rank as a Tenente Xeneral in 2008 resulted in his transfer to command the 19th Imperial Dragón Brigade, one of several elite airborne units operated by the Imperial Army. In 2014, he relinquished command of the 19th Dragón to accept a promotion to the rank of Capitán Xeneral and return to command the Imperial Second Division.
In 2018, he was promoted Comandante Xeneral to and is the current commanding officer of the Aisling Special Forces Command.
