The Mahanan Lowlands (Mahanan: महानन तराई क्षेत्र) otherwise known as the Ripali Region or just Ripal is one of the three major regions in Mahana. Historically the area has been a pool of cultures and peoples from the Shakyan civilisation to the modern Shivalayan people. It is of great scientific interest due to the diverse climate.
