This is a list of premiers of Piraea.
The Premier of Piraea (Piraean: Πρωθυπουργός της Πειραιηκή Δημοκρατία) is the head of government of the Piraean Republic. The officeholder is who usually leads political life in Piraea and has, in practise, a more prominent role than the members of the Presidency. Since the return of the democracy in 1979, Piraea has had 9 premiers, which have usually be from the two main political parties of Piraea, the Piraese Socialist Workers Union and the People's Party; the Democrats held the office during a short period of time after the forced resignation of Evangelos Polakis.
In the history of the office, the PSEE has been the longest serving party, with six premiers out of nine. Evangelos Polakis was the only premier that faced a successful motion of no confidence in 2005 amid corruption scandals and the 2005 financial crisis; although he returned to the office a year later, no government was formed and resigned days later. The current Premier, Stamatios Panopoulos, from the PSEE, has held the office since 2019 and was elected after the collapse of Theopeftatou's government.
