- The Republican Union is a Sotirian democratic party on the center-right. It promotes a social philosophy based on Catholic doctrine, but has also shown a willingness to support some progressive social policies. It advocates for a market economy with a broad social safety net provided by both the state and private charity.
- The Montecaran Socialist Party is a social democratic party on the center-left. Its policies are meant to promote social and economic equality by building a comprehensive welfare state. Socially, it supports liberal policies on LGBT rights, abortion, multiculturalism, and the environment. It opposes Montecaran membership in the Euclean Community.
- The Liberal Party – The Radicals is a liberal party on the center to center-right. It supports free market policies and advocates for reducing social spending. It also supports increased immigration and liberal social policies with regard to LGBT rights, abortion, drugs, gambling, and prostitution. It is strongly in favor of Montecaran membership in the Euclean Community. The Liberal-Radicals were formed from the merger of the Liberal Party of Montecara with the Radical Party in 1972.
- The Catholic People's Party is a Sotirian democratic, Catholic political party on the center-right to right wing. It split from the Republican Union in 1988 after leadership announced a free vote on fully legalizing abortion.
