The Erdős people (Imperial Standard Pronounciation) are an ethnic group indigenous to the Imperial East and parts of the Imperial North within The Empire. They are the fifth group of the Seven Races of the Empire, and are represented within the Imperial Pantheon as the Apostle Tamás, the Apostle of Knowledge and Time. The most notable and official representative in the Imperial Diet of the Erdos is the Esztergom people, however the tribe covers at least seven different tribes. Outside of the Imperial East, the Erdős are also native or inhabit the Imperial Megyek of Mórahalom in the Imperial North, Kassa and The Felföld in the Imperial Central, and Nagykallo in the Imperial South.
The Erdős people are the most agnostic and irreligious ethnic group within the Empire. While they enjoy a number of religious institutions that belong to the Imperial Faith, most Erdos people are not actively religious. The major exceptions to this rule are the Hajmáskér and Bátya people, who are both religious. The Bátya practice Bátya faith, a branch of the Imperial Faith that is considered to be a Heterdoxic Imperial Faith. Historically and contemporarily, Erdős people have historically been portrayed as scribes, traders, archivists, philosophers and musicians. Many of the largest Circles are based in the Imperial East, including the Circle of Esztergom built during the First Wolf Palatinate and the Circle of Harta built during the Second Wolf Palatinate.
