Early life and career
Alicja Kowalska was born in Pakosc on the 18th of August 1952. With a Rohanian father Alicja initially struggled to connect with all aspects of her family culture which was further hampered by the isolationist stance adopted by the country at the time and the severe shortage of meat and dairy products which made eating Rohanian cuisine quite hard.
