The TNT is fully amphibious but does not feature a deployable propeller or water-jet unit, instead utilizing its tracks to propel the vehicle even in water. For dealing with soft ground such as sand dunes or swampy ground, the tracks may be swapped out for wider ones in the field to reduce the ground pressure by half and improve traction. The vehicle's powerful engine allows it to carry up to 2.5 metric tons of cargo and equipment or tow up to 7 metric tons across bad terrain. Its qualities enable it to tow heavy artillery and move the artillery crew in its passenger compartment simultaneously, making the vehicle a favorite in the Zacapine artillery units.
