The Defense Forces of Nise are the armed forces of the Republic of Nise. The Defense Forces were established after the Twilight Revolution on January 15th of 1949 by the Defense Forces Act of 1949 by the First Niseran Parliament placing all former Royal Niseran Armed Forces under the command of the first elected President. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces is the President. The Defense force is the xth largest military force in Kylaris. They consist of Niseran Ground Forces, the Niseran Navy, and the Niseran Air Force.
Under Niseran Law they are subordinate to the Ministry of Defense during wartime and peace they also serve variety of law enforcement functions in conjunction with the Ministry of the Interior and military functions.
Command organization
The Defense Forces of Nise are divided into three main service branches, Niseran Ground Forces, the Niseran Navy, and the Niseran Air Force, and one specialty troop branch, Marolev Airborne Troops, and the Special Forces of Nise.
The personnel of the Niseran Defense Force are regulated both by the Constitution and Niseran Military Law.
