The company quickly became bloated, corrupt and ineffective and was sold to a private firm in 1941. The Private firm was owned 100% owned by Fredrick Arnold, brother to President [[John Arnold]]. After Arnold's death and the re-establishment of democracy, the government seized most of the ill-gotten assets held by the Arnold family. The government could not establish Fredrick's ownership of the firm beacuse it was registered in a foreign country. | |||
