Etymology
In the Akh (ethnic Dark Elf) language, the country's name of Alur K'Lar means "Superior Land" or "Superior Place," which is in line with the common belief in dark elf

Akh (Ethnic Dark Elves)
The Akh (90% of the population) or ethnic dark elves, make up the majority of the citizens of Alur K'lar. Akh are generally dark-skinned (grey to black) sapient beings with white-hair and pointed ears. Their heights generally range from 165 to 185 centimeters with no marked differences between the biological sexes.

Lolth Worship
Adherents: 80% Summary of Beliefs: Worship of the Akh creator goddess, Lolth. Lolth, (also known as the Spider Queen, Queen of the Web Pit, or Dark Mother), is traditionally described to have a full spider body and, where the head is supposed to be, contains the torso of a feminine presenting Akh who is considered to be the pinacle of beauty according to Akh beauty standards. Lolth teaches that the Akh are superior to the other races of the realms.
Selvetarm Worship
Adherents: 8% Summary of Beliefs: Warrior deity of the Akh. Worship primarily by those in the military. Some worship is syncretic with worship of Lolth, as Selvetarm is considered by tradition to be the guardian of Lolth.
