Overview
Operation REFORB has three objectives:
- To test Gristo-Serkonan expeditionary capability of its air force and navy.
- Provide critical military training for the Rökkurlynd Federal Armed Forces
- Conduct land warfare exercises to simulate a conflict between peer adversaries.
REFORB was first conceived in 1997. Following the 1993 Osawanon War, Gristo-Serkonan air assets has been assisting Rökkuringur security forces in dealing with counter-insurgency in the Bláfjallaríki region.
