Equipment of the Charnean Army

The Equipment of the Charnean Army is a mix of weapon systems, vehicles and pieces of military kit of Mutulese, Elatian, Onekawan and indigenous Charnean providence.

KZ Ouzih		Onekawa-Nukanoa Charnea	Submachine gun	Kaokazuka copy of the Onekawan SMG.7, itself a licensed copy of the Yisraeli Uzi. Produced in large numbers in both wooden stock and folding metal stock variants between 1965 and 1985, spare parts are still produced at the Kaokazuka plant, although production has officially been halted with the submachine gun combat role due to be fully replaced by modern assault rifles. KZ Ouzih is still in service with vehicle crews, border guard units and reservists. Unlike the Onekawan and Yisraeli variants, the KZ Ouzih is chambered in .45 automatic.
AP-42		Elatia	Submachine gun	Purchased in large quantities from Elatia during the Ninvite War. Many were lost or destroyed in the conflict, while those that remained in Army stocks continued to be used by vehicle crews until being moved to storage in 2004. Many AP-42s in Charnean Army inventories have been re-issued to police units, exiting the military stockpiles.
K-48		Elatia	Battle rifle	Former standard issue service rifle of the Charnean Army between 1948 and 1963, retained in large numbers in storage and re-issued during the Ninvite War when additional units were purchased from Elatia. Modified K-48s remains in service as marksman rifles, and are commonly found in unmodified form with the border guards and reserve units. Chambered in 7.62×39mm.
AK-54		Elatia	Assault rifle	AK-54F is the primary service rifle of the Charnean Army, produced under license by the Kaokazuka corporation. Large stockpiles of the AK-54B and C variants are held in storage and issued to reserve units. AK-54M is purchased from Elatia and issued in small numbers to elite units of the Army. Similarly, small batches of the AK-54S variant are used by Charnean special forces. All AK-54 pattern rifles use steel-cased 7.62×39mm rounds.
Albarodan-63		Charnea	Assault rifle	Former service rifle of the Charnean Army from 1963-1981, now in primarily in storage. Design based on the Elatian K-48 semi-automatic rifle.
M76		Charnea	Marksman rifle	Originally based on a variant of the AK-54 chambered in 7.92x57mm, eventually developed into a designated marksman rifle. Utilizes different caliber ammunition from the AK-54, K-48 and Albarodan-63 rifles in order to avoid being pressed into service with the low accuracy steel-cased 7.62x39mm ammunition most commonly used for those systems.
PR.9		Onekawa-Nukanoa	Sniper rifle	Primary sniper rifle of the Charnean Army, using mainly by special forces units. Chambered in 8.58×70mm.

A10 Aynod		Charnea	Wheeled tank destroyer	Heavy wheeled fighting vehicle designed to engage hard targets such as armored vehicles and entrenched positions using a 120mm direct fire canon with enough mobility and range to keep up with supporting elements. Produced in small batches due to higher unit cost, delivered primarily as a replacement for tanks in high readiness brigades of the Central Army. Also found in a self-propelled artillery variant armed with the K7 105mm howitzer.
A84 Inabarom		Charnea	Infantry fighting vehicle	Most numerous armored vehicle in the Charnean Army's active units. Manufactured by the Ikyan Corporation since 1984. A standard variant armed with 20mm autocanon, a 90mm canon armed variant, an anti-tank variant fitted with a turreted A97A2 Tegere ATGM launcher, a mortar carrier variant and a command vehicle variant are all in active service across the mechanized units of the Charnean Army.
A68 Akazaza		Charnea	Armored car	Armored reconnaissance vehicle equipped with a heavy 90mm gun. Produced in large numbers between 1968 and 1990, now considered obsolete due to the lackluster performance of its main gun against modern armored vehicles. Found in low-readiness units as well as in reserve storage facilities.
A13 Abawen		Charnea	Armored car	Modern armored car with light armament, primarily serving as a general purpose transport, combat ambulance, and reconnaissance vehicle.
A45 Torka		Charnea	Armored car	First indigenous Charnean scout vehicle and armored car design of the mid 20th century. Produced in large numbers and retrofitted to equip modern vehicle weapons including ATGM launchers. Phased out as a combat vehicle from most active formations but still used by the ICA border guards, by active units as a scout vehicle, and kept in storage in large numbers.

Initially designed for the Royal Onekawa-Nukanoa Air Force, design was later rejected by the Onekawan government leading to an arrangement between the manufacturer Ahuriri Aerospace and the Charnean Army to set up production of the helicopter in Charnea.

Naenae LH.11		Onekawa-Nukanoa	Light multirole helicopter	Onekawan licensed variant of Belfrasian Clios Buzzard aircraft, in service with the Charnean Army as a multirole helicopter used for ground attack and transport missions. Equipped primarily by ICA special forces units.

The ER.4 variant is the ICA's only specialized SEAD aircraft. Both variants are purchased directly from the Onekawan Ahuriri Aerospace corporation.
K'akmul 20		Mutul	Multirole fighter	Modernized K'akmul model, upgraded to launch modern cruise missiles and smart bombs. Capable of interceptor operations but primarily used as a strike craft by the ICA to avoid loosing aircraft in dogfights to more modern opposing fighters.
K'akmul 5		Mutul	Multirole fighter	Purchased in large numbers during the Ninvite War. Now largely phased out of active service, held in storage and equipped by reserve units of the Air Service.
Nākahi II TF.1		Onekawa-Nukanoa	Jet trainer	Primary trainer aircraft for the formation of jet fighter pilots, also doubling as a reconnaissance and strike craft.
Pī TB.3		Onekawa-Nukanoa	Turboprop trainer LAAR aircraft	Multifunctional turboprop aircraft used as a trainer aircraft for the formation of novice Air Service pilots and as a combat and air patrol aircraft by squadrons assigned to border patrol and counter-insurgent actions. Equipped in large numbers due to its versatility, favored by many the Air Service due to its lower cost of operations and better loiter time compared to the equivalent Nākahi II TF.1 jet aircraft.

Deployed from truck-based launchers capable of launching 5 units. Relatively rudimentary drone using many civilian components to save on cost, it has no optical guidance system and cannot autonomously hunt for targets of opportunity but can adjust course mid-flight to evade known threats.
Tiqeyyin-136		Charnea	Loitering munition	Improved version of the 131 munition, with larger wingspan, greatly increased range and more than double the warhead weight capacity.
