Crime in Polarus is a concern for the Polarussian government in many areas of the country. Despite being a generally safe country, Polarus, like most countries, has its own issues with crime and criminal enterprises operating within its borders.

Petroleum Theft

With petroleum being a major business in Polarus, criminal gangs have set their sights on portions of the petroleum industry in recent years. The cities of Rima and Rabe have seen an uptick in the hijacking of petrouleum tanker trucks since 2014, much of which is linked to an organization known as work of "Al Torab" (The Dust). Al Torab, a group made up heavily of former members of the Polarussian military, it is believed to be responsible for the majority of organized crime within Polarus.

Antiquity Theft

Al Torab has been linked to a number of antiquities thefts throughout Polarus, often offloading those antiquities to auctionhouses where they are then sold under the guise of legitimacy.

Human trafficking

The relative stability and prosperity of Polarus has made the country a destination for migrants from elsewhere in Hesperidesia, and the nation's position along the western coastline has also turned Polarus into a key stopover point in the human pipeline from Hesperidesia to Lorecia and Teudallum.
