Azov, officially the Republic of Azov, is a nation in eastern Europe. It is bordered by Transinta in the west and Mosca to the north. It has a coast with the Gulf of Neeper to the west, the Strait of Azov to the south, the Caspian Sea to the southeast, and the Volga Gulf wrapping around the northeast.

Azov has enjoyed high rates of political freedom, but has banned all political parties. Every candidate is independent, and has resulted in more mixed election results. Azov is a founding member of the Human Rights Coalition and was a pioneer for equal civil liberties during the Post Dark Ages period. Although, due to their neutrality and business with practically every country in the world, they have been criticised for trading and banking with authoritarian regimes including Magarsha.

Azov has preserved their reputation for being a neutral country and invested heavily in their tourism and banking industries. Many international banks are located in Azov with deposits from a wide variety of leaders, corporations, and national governments, including Magarsha and DewDrop. Many high end hospitality establishments are located in the highly visited Rostov region. Azov also invests in civil engineering advances and has engineered living spaces to use the land as frugally as possible without harming the quality of daily life.

Etymology

Azov derives its name from the Strait of Azov, or the Sea of Azov prior to 2776. The word Azov has unknown origins and only has loose theories asociated with it. One plausible theory is that it is an altered form of a word for lowlands from a lost language.
