Transinta, officially the Trans Republic, is a nation in central Europe. It is bordered by Doitlan to the west, Magarsha to the south, Azov to the east, Mosca to the northeast, and Polona to the northwest. It has a coast with the Danube Sea to the west, the Gulf of Danib to the south, the Black Sea to the southeast, and the Gulf of Neeper to the east.
Transinta has in recent decades increasingly been under proxy control by Magarsha. Transinta is a member of the Europe Security and Economic Pact (ESEP), placing them in even more danger of falling to Magarsha. Transinta ranks moderately low in political freedom with checked democratic processes used and rights for suffrage and protest, however, Magarsha has been aiding their preferred candidates heavily since they entered the ESEP and there are signs of Magarshan induced corruption. Civil liberties have also suffered resulting from increased Magarshan presence and corruption.
Transinta is the only country in the ESEP with a favourable temperate climate in the north. This allowed for successful agriculture development of a variety of crops. Aquatic technology is also a major market in the Trans economy. Trans companies are the prominent choices for nations in Europe as well as Magarsha and Persha for manufacture and construction of subaquatic cities and vehicles.
Etymology
Transnistria is a bastardization of the word it is based on; Transdniestria. Transdniestria means "beyond the Dniester river". The name no longer accurately applies to the country, since half lies west and half lies east of the river and corresponding Gulf of Dniester.
