Schilling was member of the Federal Chamber from 2005 to 2010 and from 2014 to 2021 a member of the State Chamber of Gablitz. From 2010 to 2014 he served as Minister of Interior of Gablitz, after his predecessor has resigned. From 2014 to 2021 he served as the Governor of Gablitz.
Early life and education
Vincent Friedrich Peter Joseph Philipp Freiherr von Schilling comes from the Gablitzian noble family Schilling. He was born as the second child of Franz von Schilling (1940-2019) and Ingrid von Schilling (1944-) in Könlenz.
