The RFP-90 is a heavy anti-materiel rifle designed and produced by Callejas Firearms S.A of Temuair and in service with the Imperial Army of Temuair and Imperial Navy of Temuair Marine Infantry. The RPH-90 is known for its long range, high accuracy, high muzzle velocity, lethality, and extreme reliability.
History and background
In 1985 the Imperial Army of Temuair released a study identifying that the armed force's lack of a dedicated long range anti-material rifle indicated a severe disadvantage when engaged against parity, similarity equipped forces. Callejas Firearms S.A was chosen in 1987 to began designing a rifle to fill the anti-material role for the Imperial armed forces. CFSA had previous experience in designing large caliber rifles. A bullpup configuration was choose for the weapon, allowing most of the weapon to be distributed to the rear of the rifle allowing for the possibility of off hand firing.
Design
The RFP-90 was designed to be compact, lightweight, accurate, low-recoil, portable and easily deployable for immediate use. While the RPF-90 and RPF-90A has an overall length of 1126 mm (44.3 in) it can be collapsed to a length of 928 mm (36.5 in) for easier transportation. Thanks to its internal recoil control mechanisms and bullpup configuration, recoil is reported to be relatively light given the rifle's ammunition. The entire rifle is constructed from lightweight aluminum alloy.
Operational history
The RFP-90-2 was used by the Alpinoes forces during the 1997 Sable Conflict fogut betwee Temuair and Notreceau in the Vi Castis Mountains in. Several parachute brigades of Grupobatalla Godoy parachuted into the town of Sable as the preliminary force of a general assault. Several snipers with the Alpinoes brigades were equipped with the RFP-90-2 and reported it was an excellent standoff weapon. Several historians credit the rifles with saving several units under attack by Notreceauen armor during the Battle of Sable. It was reported that the rifles were often used to eliminate vehicle commanders of AVS 54 main battle tanks. The Alpinoes had little other means of damaging the tanks on hand and, while the tanks themselves were proofed against the 12.7x81 mm APFSDS projectiles of the RFP-90-2, the commanders of the vehicles often had to "unbutton" the vehicles for navigation purposes.

- RFP-90-2: A shortened version of the 12.7x81 mm RFP-90 intended for use by airborne forces. The RFP-90-2 featured an advanced recoil mechanism allowing it to be fired from a standing position in a controllable fashion.
- RPF-90A: Updated RFP-90 from 2012 featuring an integrated top accessory rail for the mounting of various optical devices.
- RPF-90B: Updated RFP-90-2 from 2012 featuring an integrated top accessory rail for the mounting of various optical devices.
