For the Army and Air Forces, permanent commands consist of organizations designed to conduct defensive operations in the vicinity of the Meridonian homeland, while the Navy maintains two permanent fleet organizations which handle operational command of deployed units in their region of operation- the Marinan Fleet and the Anagonian Fleet, which handles operations in those two oceans.

Special operations forces
Special forces normally are allocated to either the Fleet (naval) or Forces Command of a specific region of operation if necessary to facilitate long-term operations in a specified area. Special forces groupings normally fall under the Joint Special Operations Group.
