| Since 1994 the group has been nominally at war with Creeperopolis (although it may be described at this point as a frozen conflict). In recent years, the EZLN has focused on a strategy of civil resistance. The EZLN's main body is made up of mostly rural impoverished Creeperans, but it includes some supporters in urban areas.
