The Saint Stefan I Bridge (Serbian: Most svetog Stefana I) is a suspension bridge that spans the river Dunav between the northern and southern part of Carigrad, the capital city of Nikolia. The bridge was designed by Nikolian architect and engineer Duder and was opened on 17th December, 1847, Nikolian national day.
It is anchored on the south side to Dunavski square, adjacent to the Aleksandrovski Hotel and the Carigrad City Hall, and on the northern side to the King Uroš I Square, which lies under the Dvorsko Brdo and the Imperial Palace of Carigrad itself.
