Kinnamos became leader of the [[Perateian Progresss]] in 1979, which has since lead to a great revival for the party and a shift left in policies. He has been a great and prominent advocate for greater Peratian autonomy within Latium. He was appointed Mayor of Leonopolis in 1977, serving until he joined the Senate in 1986. Kinnamos remained in the Senate until 2010, briefly serving as Promagistrate for the East.
