Azdarin teaches that the supreme deity, [[Gedayo]]'s, nature is the primordial water of the world and is therefore alien to the corporeal and material experiences of mankind yet molding them as the tides mold the earth. Artemis (c. 2022) is the pet cat of the twin princesses Isabella and Valentia of Dakmoor, daughters of Martin, Crown Prince of Dakmoor and Maria of Latium. Nicknamed the First Cat of Dakar, Artemis is an adopted stray male black cat, though the princesses insist that he’s an “outdoors cat” and therefore does not make public appearances with either the princesses or the royal family of Dakmoor. Due to this, Artemis has attracted a great deal of public interest on account of his mysterious nature, and is referred to as the “First Cat of Dakar”. Reporters and royal family watchers occasionally trespass into the old town district of Dakar in the hopes of catching a glimpse of Artemis, of which few photographs are known to exist. Occasionally, the princesses will take pictures with the cat for promotional purposes. As a result of the cat’s close association with the princesses, he is often seen as an “unofficial” mascot of the Dakmooran Royal Family. (See more...)
