Since the re-opening of the Pontiana in 1993 following the end of Fostana rule in the Pontanore, the country has had a multi-party system. The Cabinet, led by the Premier, exercises executive power in the Caropsyne Pontanore. It is composed of 13 ministers. It is the principal organ of public administration. By law, the Premier is the leader of the single largest political party in the Pontiana, the lower house of the Parliament. Cabinet nominees must appear before the Pontiana and survive a vote in the chamber before formally taking their posting. The collective cabinet is responsible to the Pontiana, and ultimately the electorate. The Premier and cabinet members are obligated to answer State Questions weekly on any possible topic.
